![]() Following the success of hit songs, the band set out on a massive North American tour dubbed Enfiestados y Amanecidos. The group found its big breakthrough in 2020 after releasing the songs “Juro Por Dios,” “Pídeme,” and “El Roto.” All three songs won critical and commercial successes for the band. Bolstered by the fan response, the group returned to the studio to create its sophomore album, El Barco, which was quickly followed by the band’s third album, En Vivo desde Tijuana: Los Buitrones y Los Firmes. Pasado, Presente, Futuro wasn’t a major financial success, but several of its tracks did garner the band a lot of fan attention. After working in the studio for several years, the group released its first studio album, Pasado, Presente, Futuro in 2017. Original band members Jairo Corrales and Eduin Cazares started the band as a duo before adding additional members: Jhonny Cazares, Christian Téllez, Joaquín Ruiz, Dylan Camacho, and José “Fito” Rubio. It has drawn comparisons to Carin Leon, Los Dos Carnales, Banda Los Recoditos, and La Adictiva Banda San Joe de Mesillas. One of its tours featured folclórico dancers and plenty of mariachi music. Grupo Firme is known for its lively and colorful onstage performances. The result is a vivid and high-energy entertainment experience that resonates with young fans. Grupo Firme is at the forefront of this new trend, marrying the conventional sounds of regional Mexican music with the party energy of more contemporary artists.
